Equally, in more conservative groupings, a particular theological stance, long assumed to be 'biblical' and therefore valid, can become so powerful that it will actually muzzle anything in the Bible that threatens it. A good example of this is the emasculation, in many conservative circles, of Paul's famous letter to the Romans.God save us from such conservatism! May we always value the truth of Scripture more than our particular traditions.
