This article is very interesting. However, I would have given more attention to the roles of such characters as Eeyore and Rabbit (who is meant to represent the politicians of this world as this writer so keenly observes). It is sad to see such a promising area of study being so neglected at this present time. It is also a great shame that more effort is not being put into the archaeological side of 'Pooh studies'. You never know how much light a Milne ossuary or something like that could shed upon the Pooh literature.
